A relaxing experience,

This system is easy to set up and use, but you need to know that the leg extension (where your feet go) needs to be adjusted so that the user is balanced when laying back with your hands at your waist. The instructions are no too clear on that. Once you get it to balance as described, you can rock back and forth by just moving your hands a bit towards your head, then back down. It is a very relaxing experience, as is being inverted.

Well Constructed,

I did a lot of research and exhaustive reviewing before selecting this particular model. I managed to climb onto a Teeter at Sports Authority and I really couldn't tell any difference - except for the price, which was twice as much. All of these inversion tables do the same thing . . . it's just a matter of construction, convenience and comfort that really matters. I am 6'-1" at 220 lbs and I can assure you that supporting my weight on any of these foot/ankle rollers for over 4 minutes is going to be a little discomforting.

I found that the Weslo model is extremely well constructed - easy to assemble and the feet and ankle attachments are about as good as you're going to find. You will definitely need to find a pair of hiking shoes or medium top shoes that have support around your ankles to buffer the pressure from the foam rollers. I found the canvas back support to be first class as well.

Making the correct adjustment for your height also makes a tremendous difference in the manner of how easy your body will traverse. And when you do this, you won't need to attach the noisy, supplied adjustment chain. You can park your position at any level when it's perfectly balanced.

This is only my 2nd day and I've already used this at 4-minute intervals about 8 times - due to the fact it's right outside my home office door. I have severe spinal stenosis so I'm hoping this is going to stretch my vertebrates out (temporarily) and allow some long loss blood flow and nutrients to begin flowing and alleviate the pain and tingling - if I continue to use it regularly. Time will tell.

First off, the price of the inversion rack was affordable. Second, assembly was easy and took about an hour. The instructions were clear. Third, the ankle holder system is comfortable for me. I am able to hang completely upside down or use the chain and do a wide range of inverted angles. The only thing I would recommend is this, even though it folds up, it doesn't really get that compact. You are better off clearing a space in your apartment or home designated for using this unless you have a large under the bed space or large closet. Otherwise, awesome product.

Good value, good quality,

Everything the other reviewers say is on the money. The quality is very good. Not the best, but good. Spring-loaded knobs that you have to pull to adjust foot clasps and the foot support rod could be easier to operate but they stay in place and they look like they'll last. Someone noted that your lower back rests against a metal bar under the nylon seat. That's true but it's not uncomfortable for me (6'1" 220 lbs). The taut nylon is comfortable enough (you can tighten it with well-placed straps in the back) plus when you lean back, your weight shifts away from that area anyway. My wife (5'3" 105 lbs) complained about it, but I think that inserting a foam pad over the bar will fix it.

The padded bars clamp the feet very well. I've used the unit barefoot and there's no way my feet could slip through. You do want to use shoes due to the pressure on the feet. When I get close to the vertical position, the pressure becomes pretty uncomfortable. I wonder about the steel boots design on other units. Maybe that works better, but I am happy with this system.

The effects of inverting your body are wonderful. Start slowly and relax before you invert to reduce the increase in blood pressure in your head. The effect is similar to a head or elbow stand except that you are stretching.
